I had a lovely stay at the hotel, with a fantastic view across the bay from my spacious and quiet room. The jacuzzi was superb, adding a touch of luxury to my stay, although the overall decor might need a makeover. The fact that parking was available on-site was a big plus.

However, the rooms definitely need a major overhaul as they were dated and noisy due to single-glazed windows. The hotel seemed like a promising place with its supposed upcoming refurbishment in January, but sadly, my stay was disappointing. The room that was advertised as premium turned out to be disgustingly outdated and tatty, making us want to leave as soon as possible the next morning. On the bright side, the location was ideal, close to the town and restaurants, right on the beach with a stunning sea view and a good-sized swimming pool. However, the £7 fee for certain amenities was a bit of a letdown.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic overall. The room we stayed in was spacious enough for the four of us, well-equipped, and came at a great price of £50 per night. However, the room was in need of refurbishing as the carpet was soiled and stained, needing replacement. The service we received was top-notch. The location was absolutely amazing, right above a sandy beach with stunning views of the harbor, castle, and lifeboat station. On the downside, the dining experience was not up to par with low-quality ingredients. Despite that, the facilities were good, offering a comfortable experience.
